At Ground Affects Landscaping, Inc. we have seen an increased interest in outdoor kitchens. What we have created this year is a backyard kitchen. A Weber grill is built in with granite surround countertops. We also installed a granite countertop eating area, complete with a sink and refrigerator. The great design and detail of the brick patio make for a spacious outdoor room for entertaining or just to relax. The custom made cedar pergola above the dining area will provide shade for hot days and add a beautiful accent to your raised patio. This dining experience will make you the envy of family and friends forever.

After dinner it will be time to sit down and reminisce, and what better way to do that than around the built in fire pit. When sitting down you will get to enjoy the sights of beautiful Birch trees and the wonderful fragrance of spring blooming bulbs.

Our outdoor room is paved with authentic sand mold brick pavers, providing a warm ‘Old World’ feel. The walls are defined with evergreens and unique, specially built wattle fence panels, while the ceiling of our room will be a pergola built of weathered timbers and iron columns, all custom designed and fabricated. Elegant and comfortable outdoor furniture provides places to dine, entertain, and relax. Gently bubbling fountains provide the soothing sight and sound of water, and the stone fire pit will help take the edge off the evening chill. Unique garden ornaments and pots brimming with flowers add personality. Subtle landscape lighting creates interesting effects and allows for enjoyment of the garden into the evening. An abundance of spring bulbs and perennials are in full bloom, with a birch grove and flowering trees overhead. A tranquil getaway right in your own backyard!

The designers and craftsmen at Wilkin Outdoor Innovations, Inc. invite you to join us in our outdoor living space. Complete with a built in grill, bar with seating for six, custom cedar pergola, block couch and wood burning natural stone fireplace, you will be able to visualize these types of features in your own backyard. As you sit at the bar underneath the pergola, you will begin to notice how much easier entertaining outdoors can be with everything you need right in front of you. The fireplace will allow you to extend the summer season well into the fall and create the perfect atmosphere for intimate evening dining. The custom block couch has cushions covering all seating areas as well as five throw pillows to create the perfect place for relaxing at the end of a hectic day or reading on a lazy afternoon. The patio floor is made up of two types of pavers. The first is a granite look paver in the kitchen area to tie the countertops and the floor together and the second is a tumbled paver to make the patio seem like it has always been there. The whole area is surrounded by trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals to provide color and sweet fragrances which will help to remind you that the warm days of spring are just around the corner as well as providing privacy. Entertaining and relaxing outdoors has never been so easy.
